We just recently completed an incredible branding and store opening for The Raleigh Wine Shop. If you haven’t been by, the store is on Glenwood South in Raleigh (duh) in a very cool old storefront. Seth, Jeff, and Ryan were great to work with and they have a great concept for wine and provisions. Our only problem with the store is that it isn’t in Carrboro, but it’s worth a 30 minute drive to get great wine and great service.
This was a full store opening project, starting with their logo and then tackling store signage, the website, Grand Opening marketing, and ongoing advertising. We’re especially proud of the exterior and interior signage, which were produced by Duncan Parnell. On the exterior we have a sign over the front door hanging on wrought iron, and Wine and Provisions signs on the side of the building that look like they were painted directly on the brick. Very cool. The interior signs mark wines by origin and customer taste and lead folks to different areas of the store. We also added hand illustrated flourishes to iconic photos of Raleigh for the walls. The statue of Sir Walter looks good with a bottle of wine and a glass in his hands…
Stop by The Raleigh Wine Shop the next time you are in our fair capitol. And, by all means, check out their website.
