Case Study
The Drunken Goat
New York-based Forever Cheese, an importer of exceptional cheeses and specialty foods from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, and Switzerland, recently approached us to rebrand one of its flagship cheeses, The Drunken Goat. Hailing from Jumilla, Spain, this semi-firm goat cheese is bathed in red wine (hence the name) and is the “matriarch” in a family of themed goat cheeses, including the aged Drunken Goat Reserva. With The Drunken Goat and Drunken Goat Reserva wrapped, we are now working on rebrands of The Naked Goat, Smokin’ Goat and Truffle Kid cheeses, a delicious family affair!
Existing branding
After a pleasant bender in the old world, the Drunken Goat was ready for a change. The artisanal spirit of the brand would carry on with a bright new look and classic typography.

Process
Our early explorations plumbed a woozy territory of altered states, from the classy to the seedy. As our star goat’s personality took shape, we developed label designs to supply the typography, colors, and textures of her new world.

Production
With the Drunken Goat’s spirited new look approved, we created labels for wheel, repack, and mini cheese sizes. Exhibition graphics followed, including a 6′ tall standee and serving tray, as well as a 10′ tall display wall.
