Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken
We started working on Rise when it was an idea in founder Tom Ferguson’s head. He wanted to combine the flavors of a Southern biscuit kitchen with the hectic feel of a New York deli. Through many twists and turns, we developed the initial brand identity, store graphics and website for the first location in Durham and oversaw a marketing build-up that included pop-ups and a ton of press. To say it opened big is an understatement.
Next up was franchising. How do we take this single store concept and scale it with graphics and systems that can be easily applied to stores near and far? How do we expand our marketing reach? What web applications reflect the needs of a growing franchise concept?
Fast forward 10 years later and Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is one of the fastest growing fast casual brands bearing in on 20 stores open from Georgia to Kansas and North Carolina to California, with over 100 more franchises sold. We proudly continue to handle all graphics, signage and marketing for Rise corporate and the franchisees, including grand opening packages. We’re particularly proud of our store experiences, which start our 4 Walls marketing of Rise, and our ongoing work connecting Rise to customers through social media, email marketing, the Rise Rewards loyalty program, and special events in the community.
